A survey conducted by CBRE’s flexible office brand Hana found that 70% of respondents said remote working is a must when considering new job opportunities.
“A lot of people think flexible space is the disruptor, but it’s really just the solution to what more employees are asking from their employers,” said Andrew Kupiec of Hana. “This is about a fundamental shift in corporate strategy.”
According to Kupiec, the push for flexible solutions is an attempt to meet “a broader need of consumer demand” particularly with large corporations.
The research finds that the flexible office market is anticipated to grow five to ten times what it currently is, so Hana is looking to capitalize on that growth.Moving forward, Hana wants to expand in the U.S. and Europe in 2020 and in the long term, is looking to create partnerships in Asia Pacific. Kupiec added that as Hana continues to build its footprint, it does so with the proposition of leveraging partnering CBRE with its landlords.
