Audrey Gelman, CEO of women-centric coworking startup The Wing, has announced that the company will donate its coworking facility for government organizations, nonprofits or healthcare systems to use for coronavirus relief.
The company closed its coworking spaces until April 1, as several other coworking companies have done in the past few weeks to combat the spread of COVID-19.
The Wing currently has 70,000 square feet of space in New York City, which has become a hub for the virus, that features full kitchens and showers.
“If it’s space for relief workers, at-risk women, homeless families — anything,” Gelman said on Twitter.
