New York-based flexible office provider Industrious has announced plans to open a new coworking space in St. Petersburg.
Situated in the Third Lake-owned 28-story Central tower, the company will take up 37,000 square feet on the third, fourth and fifth floors. This new location, coined Industrious 200 Central, will bring the company’s Tampa Bay area footprint to over 120,000 square feet.
“This is exciting news for St. Pete as it aligns well with our needs,” said Rick Kriseman, St. Petersburg Mayor. “I expect Industrious will be popular here.”
The company currently has an office in downtown Tampa’s SunTrust Financial Centre and has plans for new facilities at Third Lake’s Centro Ybor, which is expected to open later this year, and Sparkman Wharf.
Industrious has plans to begin sales for the St. Petersburg location in January, with an actual opening to next spring.
