Servcorp has revealed it will close 12 of its facilities in the United States as part of its reorganization strategy, leaving only 10 locations in the U.S.
The cities that will be impacted by the closures include Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington D.C.
The serviced office company’s Chicago, Houston, New York and one of its D.C. locations will continue to operate moving forward.
“Servcorp has proven over the more than forty years of its existence to be a robust business, and this remains the circumstance today. We are confident following this reorganisation that Servcorp USA will emerge a stronger business,” the company said. “Our reorganisation of the USA does not mean Servcorp’s global footprint will shrink. Indeed, in this time of opportunity, we are passively looking for locations in which to expand in early calendar year 2021.”
In November, CEO and founder Alf Moufarrige expressed that the US side of the business was struggling, and vowed to take action if it did not improve in six months.
