Colliers International is predicting that offices will be buzzing with activity as businesses look to adopt workspace design that emphasizes collaboration and innovation.
As part of the company’s global Work from Home survey of 5,000 respondents across 18 industries, the findings revealed that a hybrid of both at-home and in-office work will be in demand, indicating that the office will continue to be a sought-after environment for many workers.
“Attitudes towards remote working have been completely challenged by this global pandemic. The greatest surprise for many companies has been the realization that their organization can work remotely, be productive, and stay connected,” said Jan Jaap Boogaard, Head of EMEA Workplace Advisory in Colliers. “This awakening has started a new conversation for many businesses as they explore their work processes, business culture and question what the future is for their workplace.”
