Chicago-based coworking operator Workbox will open its second location in the historic Gold Coast on April 1.
The company serves as both a coworking space and an accelerator program for early-stage tech startups. It offers shared and private workspaces, as well as coffee, private phone booths, conference rooms, networking opportunities, mentoring, access to mentors and more.
Workbox memberships range from $200 to $800 per month. The company also offers a remote membership for $5,500 each year which provides users access to capital offerings, mentoring and networking
The new location was previously occupied by Industrious. After it opens in the spring, the company said it has plans to open a third space in River North this summer.
The firm’s first location opened at 420 North Wabash Avenue in 2019.
