A new report from Forrester has identified what Generation Z expects from their jobs as the competition for top talent rages on.
For starters, one-third of Gen Z workers stated they prefer to use a 2-in-1 laptop, which is essentially both a tablet and laptop in one device.
Additionally, 46% of Gen Z professionals state they would prefer to choose their own security software, so business leaders should provide multiple choices in order to find the best one for each worker.
Younger workers also expressed issues about personal privacy. In fact, 23% of Gen Z workers said they do not want their employer accessing data on their personal devices that may be used for work compared to 9% of Baby Boomers.
Another big expectation from younger workers is having more than one workspace option. For many, this means working in a coworking space or even in multiple locations within a single office.
