APF Properties has jumped on the coworking train by launching its own coworking brand.
In partnership with Avison Young, APF will open short-term office space totaling 50,000 square feet across three towers in New York City’s Midtown neighborhood.
Each property will offer leases that range from one to five years and stretch from 2,000 square feet to 15,000 square feet.
The flexible offices will also be equipped with furniture, share a conference center at 25 West 45th, and offer a bike storage area.
“It’s really a function of curating opportunities that are in line with what businesses need in order to come back to New York City,” said Brooks Hauf, a senior director at Avison Young. “[We] want to partner with [tenants] to make sure that they have opportunities in the marketplace in which they don’t feel like they are taking huge risks.”
Despite the spike of Covid-19 cases in recent weeks, Hauf stated that people are still seeking leases in New York City, particularly flexible options.
