Coworking operator The Great Room will open a new location in Singapore as the region slowly returns to the physical office.
Anticipated to open this October, the new location will take up 37,000 square feet of space at the Afro-Asia building. It will be the company’s fifth and largest location in Singapore.
The coworking space will feature 50 dedicated offices, 16 on-demand hot offices, 41 hot desks, conference rooms, meeting spaces and biophilic, environmentally-friendly design.
The Great Room has also partnered with furniture manufacturer Roger&Sons to outfit The Drawing Room, which will be a communal space for members to gather and network.
“The opening of The Great Room at Afro-Asia comes at a time when the world is rethinking the concept of the workplace,” said Jaelle Ang, CEO of The Great Room. “This next chapter of our brand is a starting point of a journey towards a more sustainable work environment, as well as our continued evolution in human-centric design in this new era of hybrid working, and individual and corporate wellbeing.”
