Houston is welcoming more coworking spaces, with IWG-owned Spaces and Texas-based firm WorkSuites announcing new locations in the city’s downtown area.
Spaces will open a new 50,000 square foot location in the GreenStreet commercial development, where it will offer meeting rooms, offices, dedicated desks, coworking opportunities, virtual offices services, as well as other amenities like a rooftop deck, kitchens and an on-site cafe.
“We are delighted to expand our footprint in Houston and will continue to scale our network both in North America and globally to meet the growing demand for hybrid work,” said Wayne Berger, CEO of IWG Americas.
WorkSuites also recently signed a lease to take up the 23rd floor of 1000 Main Street, where it will feature golf simulators, a lounge area, as well as a new coworking pod called WorkTank.
This location is expected to open by the end of the year and will be the company’s fifth location in the city.
