Zoom has announced that it will bring its employees back into the office through a hybrid return-to-office strategy.
An internal survey of Zoom employees showed that just 1% of staff want to return to the office full-time, leading the company to incorporate both remote and in-office arrangements.
The poll also showed that one-quarter of employees wanted to work from home full-time, while over half preferred a hybrid approach.
“There isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to returning to the office,” said Kelly Steckelberg, chief financial officer at Zoom.
While there are no specific details to the company’s hybrid approach, the office reopening will continue to enforce physical distancing and PPE protocols in place.
