The Fort Lauderdale location is slated to open during the second quarter of 2023 and will be the company’s seventh location in the region. The Aventura location will be its second in the area and open in the third quarter of 2023.

Industrious will also expand its 45,000 square foot coworking space in Downtown Miami’s Sabadell Financial Center, where it will add an additional 12,261 square feet.

“It speaks to a real robust growth of demand for this premium flex product,” said Peri Demestihas, senior director of real estate at Industrious.

South Florida has become a popular hub for businesses looking for relief from the expensive constraints of New York City and the West Coast.

“You do have companies that want to have locations in South Florida but they don’t want to wait,” Demestihas added. “We are able to provide ready-to-go, flex premium office that can be moved into tomorrow.”
