In response to the growing demand for flexible workspaces in Latin America, The Instant Group announced that it is expanding its global presence by entering the Mexico City market.
The rise in demand for flex spaces in Mexico coincides with a much broader global movement towards workspaces that can support the increasingly digital, mobile, and project-based nature of the modern workforce. The Instant Group reports that flexible workspace demand in the Latin America region is up 29% and that in Mexico City demand has risen by 163% year over year.
According to data published by the company, Mexico City ranked as number two in the top 10 cities that saw the greatest number of flex desks requested in 2023. Mexico City is The Instant Group’s first foray into the Latin American markets.

The Instant Group’s CEO Tim Rodber expressed in the announcement that the company’s expansion strategy has led it to establish a presence in diverse markets including Sweden, India, and Africa, and this is a clear indicator that global flexible workspace demand is on the rise.
The mounting data and expansion announcements also arrive from a list of flex operators including Workspace, IWG, and Premier Workspaces, all representing a fundamental change in how businesses worldwide are approaching collaboration and how companies plan on utilizing physical office space this year.
