Flexible workspace provider Expansive is set to broaden its Chicago footprint with the launch of its seventh location in the city’s iconic Pru building.
This new Chicago location was unveiled in partnership with Riverside Investments and Wanxiang Real Estate Group.
The space will occupy the 35th floor of Tower #2, which is a space previously managed by workspace provider IWG under its Regus brand.
“Our expansion into the Pru building represents a significant milestone for Expansive as we continue to grow in partnership with institutional office owners,” Bill Bennett, CEO of Expansive said. “We are thrilled to bring this modern workspace to life, providing businesses with a dynamic environment that supports their growth and success.”
Expansive’s future workspace at the Pru building, formerly known as Prudential Plaza, is undergoing renovations to transform it into a “state-of-the-art flexible office environment.” The firm revealed the floor will feature private offices, coworking spaces, on-demand meeting rooms and day offices — similar to its six other offerings in the city.
The latest expansion is scheduled to be completed in September, with an official grand opening celebration set for October 1st.
Commercial real estate trends indicate that companies based in large metro areas such as Chicago are increasingly seeking flexible work environments that can help their teams adapt to changing work environments, and Expansive’s growing list of offerings in the area help position the firm to meet this demand.
