Yardi Systems is expanding further into the flexible workspace industry with the acquisition of two key booking platforms: Deskpass (U.S.) and Hubble (U.K.).

The acquisition will strengthen Yardi’s technology services for flexible workspace operators globally.

In announcing the acquisitions, Yardi noted increasing demand for flexible office space, as companies continue to adjust their workspace strategies in a post-pandemic world.

“We are excited to build a global infrastructure to connect office users with space from the best office owners and coworking operators,” said Robert Teel, president of Yardi Global Solutions. “The Deskpass and Hubble teams bring a wealth of customer and industry knowledge about flexible marketplaces to help us service this evolving customer need.”

Yardi Kube automates flex and coworking operations

Deskpass and Hubble, both well-established in their respective markets, bring a combined offering that could help Yardi better cater to the growing demand for adaptable work environments.

Deskpass is a popular platform in North America that lets users book coworking spaces, meeting rooms, and private offices across a broad network of locations. The platform is particularly known for serving both individual workers and enterprise clients looking for more flexible office solutions.

On the other side of the Atlantic, Hubble is the leading online marketplace for coworking space in the U.K. The platform allows users to book a variety of office types — from coworking desks to private offices — and offers flexibility in terms of both duration and contract length. Hubble has a strong customer base of small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and larger corporations, giving Yardi a stronger foothold in the U.K. market.

The mergers will bolster Yardi’s expanding coworking services. The real estate technology company acquired a 60% stake in WeWork last year as Yardi stepped in to lead WeWork out of bankruptcy.

Maximize Flexible Space Revenue

Yardi’s existing platforms, including Yardi Kube, a space management tool for flexible office operators, and CoworkingCafe, which lists over 21,000 coworking locations, will now be able to integrate more seamlessly with Deskpass and Hubble, further expanding their reach and functionality. Yardi Kube already helps space owners with tasks like membership management, billing, and space utilization, while CoworkingCafe serves as a global marketplace for finding and booking coworking spaces.
