JLL Receives Top Score For Corporate Sustainbilty Practices

CPD encourages companies to disclose their environmental impact and helps provide new methods of reducing their greenhouse gas emissions.

The organization’s environmental disclosure and scoring process is viewed as one of the highest standards in corporate sustainability measurements.

For CPD’s 2021 climate change questionnaire, nearly 12,000 companies submitted responses. From there, the firm scores respondents from A to D- depending on their comprehensiveness of disclosure, management of environmental risks, and practices used to improve their sustainability.

JLL was acknowledged by CPD for its ability to cut down on emissions, develop a low-carbon economy, and reduce climate risks.

“JLL is delighted to be named on the CDP Climate A List for our leadership in transparency and action. Climate change is the biggest existential challenge we have ever faced,” said Richard Batten, Chief Sustainability Officer at JLL. “With real estate and associated infrastructure responsible for close to 40% of global carbon emissions, we have an ambitious program to reduce emissions across our own real estate and to take our clients on a rapid journey to de-carbonisation.”
