Coworking operator The Wing will reopen its Chicago location after shuttering the business due to the pandemic.
The company opened its first Chicago location in April 2019, but was forced to close it in March of 2020. However, as society begins to emerge from the depths of the pandemic, The Wing is relaunching the 9,000 square foot coworking space in the Fulton Market District.
“I consider this (pandemic subsiding) a great opportunity to do a relaunch of our services to the business community in Chicago,” said Jen Cho, former chief marketing officer turned CEO of The Wing. “We have air purifiers at the office and daily cleaning is done, so there will be no mask or vaccinated mandate to enter our facility, although we do have certain areas where masks must be worn.”
The company hopes to expand its services to Europe during the summer as well.
Although The Wing was founded as a coworking space for women, it now allows all genders to be members.
As the risk of Covid-19 subsides, more and more flexible and coworking operators have begun launching post-pandemic strategies that includes expansions, acquisitions, consolidations, and returning to normal operations.
