The William Vale hotel has found an occupant to take up one of its last vacant retail spaces: a coworking space.ย ย
The hotel in Brooklyn will welcome in The Malin, a 10,000 square foot high-end, fully-equipped coworking space.ย ย
CEO Ciaran McGuigan says he was inspired by the William Valeโs architecture for The Malinโs second location, which will feature the usual coworking amenities such as private offices, phone booths and meeting rooms for up to 250 members.ย
โWhen people enter our space, it doesnโt feel over the top or overwhelming,โ said McGuigan. โIt doesnโt feel like an over-the-top, exclusive members club.โ ย
The new location emphasizes the importance of design, complementing the space with stylish emerald velvet couches, teal leather and pink upholstered chairs. ย
Complete with frosted glass that filters in plenty of light and wooden frames for a natural touch, the coworking space aims to build off the William Valeโs โindustrial and quite intenseโ architecture, according to Fettle Designโs Tom Parker.ย
โWe wanted to prevent it from feeling too much of any particular period, and then itโs all tied together in the fabric scheme,โ said Parker.
