Greenfield project 39 Bishop Dunn Place in Auckland, New Zealand will soon be opening a purpose built coworking space. Developed by FURM Group, this will be the first coworking space of its category to open for the South East Auckland community.
“Its been an amazing 18 month journey of strategic planning and execution to get to where we are today in the final stages of construction before finally opening our doors to members and the community.” Says entrepreneur and visionary behind the project, Nader Luthera.
“This is a passion project of mine after coworking around the world via coworktheworld.com last year. My vision for this hub is to support young Mums & Dads in business as well as youth in our community through out of school care, holiday programs, accelerated innovation and technology learning, and tailored entrepreneurship style programs.” Says Luthera.
Upon completion, PROJECT 39 Bishop Dunn will boast a 600 square metre high stud, double storey, purpose built inspirational coworking space, with over 1200 square metres of left over open land for recreational use and potential to expand. The building will include an events space, meetings rooms, meditation lounge, and a commercial kitchen and cafe space, all overlooking beautiful and luscious sports fields and reserves. Members will also directly benefit from the Accounting, Digital and Advisory services made available through FURM Group.
The new building is being constructed directly across from Kiwi Supertots Learning Centre, a quality early childhood education provider, founded by HP and Darshi Luthera in 1992. PROJECT 39 Bishop Dunn is planned to open alongside their 25 year silver jubilee celebration in November 2017.
Offering coworking & childcare to the local community solves many problems for people in the area who currently don’t have an office, or work from home in isolation, or with their children. Its also an opportunity to work closer to home and not worry about Auckland’s growing traffic problem.
“These are not just problems we experience in our local ecosystem, but also in many cities and countries around the world. I hope that this project brings inspiration to other entrepreneurs and developers around the world to help address those problems.” Says Luthera.
