Eleventh New York location offers modern, sun-filled offices in the historic Forman Family Building
New York — July 17, 2018 — The Yard, a revolutionary, shared office space, has opened its doors to its 11th location in New York and 14th location to date, The Yard: South Williamsburg. Located at the landmarked 195 Broadway, The Yard: South Williamsburg provides a full-service office experience with resources, amenities and an engaging on-site team to help entrepreneurs and creatives focus on their business’s growth without worrying about day-to-day office needs.
Sharing one of South Williamsburg’s most iconic corners with the famous Peter Luger Steak House and the historic Williamsburgh Savings Bank, The Yard: South Williamsburg is set in a prime location for local Brooklyn entrepreneurs and Manhattan commuters. With spectacular views of the Williamsburg Bridge and steps from the J/M/Z train-line, the new space is ideal for those preparing for the L Train shutdown early next year. The new space features private offices, dedicated desks, and coworking areas throughout the third and fourth floors of the historic Forman Building. Skylights and ample windows create quintessential Brooklyn backdrops for the modern entrepreneur.
“It’s never been a better time to be an entrepreneur in Brooklyn,” said Morris Levy, co-founder and CEO of The Yard. “We opened our very first location in Williamsburg in 2011 because we saw a community that was taking innovation to the next level. Seeing the accelerated growth in the South Williamsburg community, we’re returning to our roots to help the next generation of Brooklyn-born businesses.”
Open coworking memberships in the new location start at $295/month, dedicated desks at $450/month, and private offices at $775/month. Members will have access to spacious lounges, state-of-the-art conference rooms, kitchens stocked with coffee and tea, curated events, and a built-in community of like-minded innovators. The Yard will be hosting an event on July 17th to celebrate the grand opening and premiere the first art exhibit in the space through The Yard’s Art Program.
Established in 2011, The Yard’s locations in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington, D.C. have helped thousands of entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
