Indrajit Belgundi, Dell India’s General Manager, said that AI (artificial intelligence) and AR/VR (augmented and virtual reality) will play a bigger role in the way we work and eventually transform the workforce permanently.
Corporations want to create virtual and physical environments where technology is a key factor in geographical and cultural distribution. AR/VR will bring on-site learning to workplaces as well as create immersive visual experiences.
On-site training and accessible data will give employees an opportunity to do their best work at anytime. Employees will have the chance to collaborate through AR/VR advancements and bring everyone together in an almost physical-like environments.
There will be an emphasis on remote collaboration and the traditional 9-5 work day will be a thing of the past. Apps that allow video calling and sharing files in real time will bring a new dimension to the idea of collaborating.
