The All Good Work Foundation has launched a flexible ‘Drop-In Program’ for nonprofit organizations, providing access to workspaces, including desks and offices by the day, and meeting rooms by the hour. The new program is intended to meet the needs of both coworking operators and nonprofits who need more flexible alternatives as the market continues to evolve.
Since it was founded in 2016, the All Good Work Foundation has connected scores of social impact organizations with donated workspace in coworking spaces and business centers through its Residency Program. Now, All Good Work is going a step further to more optimally support the dynamic needs of nonprofits, offering flexible hourly and daily drop-in access to conference rooms and desk space.
The new service is powered by Upflex, an online platform that gives coworking and business center operators the ability to fulfill demand for short-term, flexible workspace rentals.
During one of the most challenging years the Foundation, its partners and Residents have ever experienced, the new Drop-In service creates a more flexible and simplified approach to accessing workspace at a time when social impact organizations are most in need of a supportive, professional workplace environment. It also provides operators with more flexibility to donate underutilized space in an effort to support their local community.
“The All Good Work Foundation has been working with the shared office industry for several years, and we’ve seen how much coworking space operators want to help and be connected to the community. The new Drop-In Program gives them a new and better way to do that, at a time when it’s needed more than ever.” – Nate Heasley, All Good Work Foundation Executive Director
“Since our inception, Upflex has tried to find ways to solve the issue of under-utilized space to create more sustainability. Our partnership with All Good Work for the Drop-In Program gives us another vehicle to achieve this goal, while also enabling organizations that do good in their local communities.” – Ginger Dhaliwal, Upflex Co-founder & CPO
The program works by enlisting flexible workspaces who are willing to donate space including day desks, seats in a coworking space, or conference rooms. Once the space is listed on the Drop-In Program, All Good Work will connect the coworking provider with local community organizations, foundations, and regional or national nonprofits in need of workspace.
Local nonprofits are invited to apply for the program and will be interviewed by All Good Work staff to ensure that they are carrying out verifiable social impact work, are in need of workspace, and that they will contribute positively to the workspace community.
