WeWork India Lands 3M as a Client
3M has signed an agreement to establish its headquarters at WeWork’s Prestige Central building in Bengaluru, the Free Press Journal reported this week. According to reports, the tech company has taken up 17,000 square feet of office space; the contract signed is for 2 years and 3M’s 400 India employees will have access to all of WeWork’s amenities and perks.
Venture X Partners with Vari
Dallas Innovates reported this week that flexible workspace operator, Venture X, has partnered with standing desk company Vari. As part of the partnership, Vari will furnish all new Venture X flexible workspace centers and it will act as the single point of contact for design, ordering, and installation “so that locations can be quickly operational.”
New On-Demand Coworking Platform Launches in Hong Kong and Singapore
Tech in Asia reported this week that Deskimo has launched its on-demand coworking reserving app in Hong Kong and Singapore. The Y Combinator backed company offers a catalog of independent workspaces, including The Hive, Arcc Spaces, and The Executive Centre; users can book access to workspace and meeting space by the minute, hour, or day.
