Amazon CareerDay is open to anyone, but the company is hoping this event will help fill-in over 40,000 open corporate and technology positions, as well as other hourly Amazon Operations network jobs.
This news follows a nationwide labor shortage that is hindering organizationsโ ability to attract and retain new talent. Coinciding with this event, the company recently announced a commitment to covering all of its hourly workersโ college tuition fees, and textbooks.
