Hotels Are Joining The Competition To Attract Hybrid Workers

Numerous studies and researches have all come to one conclusion: most workers want hybrid work arrangements.

Because of this inevitable shift, hotels are taking the opportunity to highlight their hospitable offerings that are perfect for a hybrid workforce. This simultaneously makes them a direct competitor to the office industry.

Although the flexible workspace industry has positioned itself to become an alternative office solution for newly hybrid workers, it still doesn’t quite meet the need of this new mode of operating.

A hybrid workspace needs to somewhat reflect an employees’ home, which is why hotels have successfully set themselves apart in the competition for attracting new hybrid workers.

Hotels are amenity-rich in nature, offering occupants access to on-demand services, fitness centers, on-site cafes, fast internet, and more, making it an ideal choice for hybrid workers.

However, hybrid office hoteling will still need to make adjustments in order to truly make guests feel at home. For instance, incorporating newer technology and scheduling apps to make the work day run more seamlessly will be crucial.

Additionally, hotel business centers are often bland, so revamping these spaces and hotel rooms to make them more comfortable and inspired will be a necessity. These additions should include ergonomic furniture, a place to nap, a noise-free environment, and more to create the ideal work atmosphere.
