According to the report, flexible office users want to be in these spaces at least half of the work week, which is a 19% increase from the current rate.

The London-based software-as-a-service company Valve, which offers leasing and scheduling software, will use the funding towards a North American expansion.

Coworking spaces fill the gaps between pure remote work models and the desire to come into a professional setting on certain days of the week.

Through the deal, Hera Hub will be embedded into Expansive’s River North location on West Superior Street, where it is expected to open on October 3.

The program will see WeWork work alongside city representatives to reevaluate their workspaces and incorporate the proper tools that make flexible working more tangible.

WeWork COO Samit Chopra says that enterprise companies are increasingly leaning on these workspaces to cut costs and accommodate the growing demand for flexible work arrangements.
