GLAAD CEO Sarah Kate Ellis says companies and leaders need to do much more in order to be allies of the LGBTQ+ community.

Taking responses from over 52,000 workers across 44 countries, the survey revealed that 35% of respondents had plans to request for a pay increase in the next 12 months.

Employees will receive reimbursement for travel expenses for abortion or trans-related healthcare services if neither is available within 100 miles of where a worker lives.

84% of Millennials say that remote work is highly important, followed by 75% of Gen Xers, 68% of Boomers, and 66% of Gen Zers.

Remote work and social capital are not mutually exclusive. Companies that have embraced full flexibility are not inevitably doomed to hinder their work culture. 

Of all the jobs analyzed, the report showed that skills within business management, design and media, finance, human resources, and IT have changed the fastest.

Altogether, the total number of unemployment claims came to 218,000, higher than the 200,000 forecasted by economists polled by Reuters.

In a message to employees, Apple said that its incremental plan to usher workers back into the office three days a week will be postponed due to rising Covid-19 cases.

According to New York state law, employers are required to provide pregnant and disabled employees with reasonable accommodations when requested.

“These changes are primarily driven by business needs rather than individual performance…” said a Netflix spokesperson.
