Brooklyn, NY — (August 9, 2016) — CoLab-Factory, a co-working space designed as a collaborative environment for entrepreneurs, freelancers and small businesses, announced today the appointment of Amanda Zamurs as its Community Manager.
As CoLab-Factory continues to evolve its presence in the co-working industry, the addition of Zamurs enables the company to elevate its member experience in its co-working space in Downtown Brooklyn. Zamurs will take on digital and social media marketing initiatives as part of her responsibilities, although she’ll also contribute to secure partnerships that will continue to advance the company.
“Amanda’s marketing and startup expertise is a tremendous asset,” said Shane Barbanel, CEO and founder of CoLab-Factory. “She has a phenomenal skill set in developing a one-of-a-kind community experience that educates members and drives innovative business conversations.”
In her new position at the CoLab-Factory, Amanda has an integral role in cultivating relationships with current members as well as implementing strategies to further expand the membership base.
Prior to joining CoLab-Factory, Zamurs was an Associate at Techstars and has deep ties to startup communities in the United States and United Kingdom. In addition, she brings a wealth of experience promoting the importance of education from previous roles as the Event and Community Manager at Founders4Schools, which introduces students to business leaders and as the Marketing and Community Manager for BlikBook, a platform that connects students and lecturers around course content.
