Emily Sharman is Citibase’s new Client Services Consultant.

The Property Manager for the New Economy, Citibase, which manages 36 fully serviced business centres in the UK on behalf of building owners, has appointed Emily Sharman in the new role of Client Services Consultant, to spearhead the growth of its network of flexible workspace hubs.

The Citibase network has already enjoyed rapid expansion, with nine new openings in the past 12 months in areas including Aberdeen, Wakefield and London Victoria Palace Street. Emily will liaise closely with building owners, from those who have just an empty floor, to those with an entire vacant building. By taking on the management of these properties, Citibase can help turn them into vibrant flexible workspace centres packed with the SMEs of the New Economy, and generate cash for their owners as a result. Previously, Emily was Regional Sales Consultant at Citibase.

The announcement follows a record period of growth for Citibase, in terms of new openings, high level appointments and financial performance, with the best ever results in its 24-year history – with a 23% rise in year on year earnings (EBITDA) and total revenue up by 7% to £21.25m.

Steve Jude, Citibase CEO, comments: “The flexible office sector is booming and presents an exciting opportunity for smart building owners looking to make the most of their assets. Having nearly a quarter of a century of expertise in transforming underutilised offices – whether just a floor or two or a whole building – into vibrant office hubs, Citibase manages the whole process from start to finish. It’s a tried and tested, hassle-free means for building owners to obtain a steady cash flow from their underutilised spaces.”

The world of work has changed forever – and Citibase, as ‘Property Manager for the New Economy’, will continue to remain at the forefront of this flexible officing revolution.”

About Citibase

Citibase offers fully serviced business centres for cost-conscious SMEs in 36 locations nationwide. Their unique disruptive business model brings together both clients and customers. Over the last 24 years they have been commissioned by some of the largest and smallest names in the UK property market to help execute a plan for their under-utilised office space.

They provide solutions to property owners, by taking over the management of the building, allowing building owners to generate a cash income from secondary office space with minimum stress whilst providing SME customers with cost-effective office solutions.

Citibase also offers building owners with short-term voids a smart way of enjoying the hassle-free cash which only Citibase can generate by launching one of their unique pop-up business centres. It’s easy-in and easy-out, and Citibase will manage the entire process.
