(Minneapolis, MN) October 1, 2018 — Coworking company Novel Coworking is adding a second Minneapolis location with its purchase of the TriTech Center at 331 2nd Avenue South in the Gateway District. The Chicago-based company acquired the building on October 1 and plans to renovate it to provide modern and affordable workspace. Pre-leasing is already underway for private offices, office suites, and coworking memberships.

“The demand for flexible and budget-friendly workspace in Minneapolis has been impressive, and we’re excited to be able to offer small businesses and entrepreneurs even more options downtown,” said Bill Bennett, Founder of Novel Coworking.

Novel Coworking’s members get 24/7/365 access to the building and vibrant coworking lounge, blazing fast direct fiber internet, all utilities, an espresso bar, local beer on tap, modern furnishings, and community events included in rent. With coworking memberships starting at $99 a month, private offices starting at $399 a month, and office suites as low as $199 per employee a month, Novel Coworking provides small businesses, enterprise firms, and entrepreneurs with high-caliber amenities at a budget price.

Built in 1982, the 113,987-square-foot building is nine floors high and features skyway connectivity. The glass-and-concrete building is half occupied with traditional lease tenants, who will remain in the building. The company hosted a Grand Opening for its first Minneapolis location, the former Art Institutes International Minnesota building at 15 South 9th Street, on September 20.
