For the past 200 years, the shipyard has been a symbol of inventiveness and in the past couple of decades, has grown to become a leading edge of technology, production, media, and more. With this, Dock 72 is Brooklyn’s first ground-up development in 30 years.

WeWork at Dock 72 will have vast views of Manhattan and Brooklyn that hopes to spark productivity and lifestyle.

The space will have various amenities that will create a merging of work life and leisure. Workers can have a fulfilling workday in the office’s cozy interiors and collaborative workspaces, then step out onto the 18,000 square feet of private terraces to take a breather.

“The space has all of the thoughtful details that employees love, and more of the lifestyle-driven amenities they crave. For example, a 15,000-square-foot wellness center, Rise by We, will feature fitness and mindfulness sessions, personal treatment rooms, group classes and personal training sessions,” according to Commercial Observer.

The space will also include a 13,000 square foot food hall, an outdoor event space with plenty of networking opportunities, a basketball court, and more to give employees the feel of a tight-knit community.

The Navy Yard is continuing to grow exponentially, with Steiner Studios, Wegman’s, and Russ & Daughters all opening new locations next to Dock 72.
