Knotel, WeWork’s biggest rival, is about to close a deal to lease the famous 22-story Flatiron building.
The building’s landlord GFP Real Estate denied that a deal was certain, but declined to say more.
If completed, the deal would end a months-long battle for the building. The We Company and Office Group were also in the running to lease the property.
The current tenant, MacMillan Publishing, is relocating to 120 Broadway.
This news follows Knotel’s already busy month, having signed 160,000 square feet of space around New York.
