About 60% of workers say that inadequate technology that fails to do its job properly is the main reason for poor productivity.

This factor overpowers any other workday nuisance according to research from Cloud-Booking. The research says the technology is the most important factor in their work experience, with 90% of UK office workers saying that technology is vital to their work life.

Less than one in ten UK employees are “extremely satisfied” with their workplace, revealing more room for employers to deliver better technological resources.

Physical environment also has a big impact on workers’ day-to-day life. Almost 71% of employees consider the 9-to-5 work schedule to be outdated and 78% find that choosing their location and schedule to be a big priority. Despite these workers wanting to move towards flexible working, many staff still prefer a fixed desk.
