The Wing is known for many things: its female-oriented environment, its high-profile members, but mostly for its one-of-a-kind design.

The coworking company’s 10,500 square foot Boston location in the Back Bay features bathrooms stocked with Glossier and Chanel products, a cafe, a library with over 2,000 women-focused texts and weekly events. The space was curated by the company’s all-female design team geared to make women comfortable.

“It’s about giving women the amenities [they need to be] as productive as possible and surrounding them with beauty to keep them inspired,” said Laetitia Gorra, senior interior designer.

Additionally, the space has twill-and-velvet sofas that were filled with an extra inch of filling to make them more ergonomically fit for the average woman. Gorra said that most workspaces are designed to cater to men, so creating furniture for women has been rewarding.
