Press Release

Deskpass, a platform that enables professionals to book and use coworking and meeting space, is now available in Atlanta

  • Deskpass has launched its monthly subscription service in Atlanta.
  • The platform enables individuals to book and use shared workspace and meeting rooms without having to commit to a long-term membership.
  • The coworking locations participating in Atlanta include Servcorp, Serendipity Labs, FireWorks, and Thrive Coworking, among others.

ATLANTA (November 20, 2019) — Deskpass, the innovative leader in shared workspace access, announced today that its monthly subscription service is now available in the Atlanta metropolitan area to give remote workers and freelancers a convenient and affordable way to check out a curated selection of shared workspaces and conference rooms.

“We are really excited to bring Deskpass to Atlanta, one of the most dynamic cities in the country for remote work,” said Sam Rosen, cofounder and CEO of Deskpass. “Atlanta now boasts over 1.2 million square feet of coworking space. With the rapidly growing demand for flexible work options and so many to choose from, it can be challenging to find a space that fits your needs and personality. Deskpass allows you to try multiple locations without having to make a pricey long-term commitment.”

Using its website or mobile app, new subscribers can sign up for Deskpass’s “mini” plan at no cost and work at up to four locations per month. After the free trial the plan is $49 a month, representing a significant savings over the day rate at most spaces. Monthly Deskpass membership includes access to its entire network of more than 400 coworking locations and hundreds of hourly workspaces in 15 cities nationwide. This includes 14 coworking locations in Metro Atlanta, such as Servcorp in Buckhead and Midtown, Serendipity Labs in Buckhead and Alpharetta, FireWorks in Marietta and three Thrive Coworking locations around the region, with more coming soon. There are also 35 hourly options available, including meeting rooms, private offices by the hour, and training rooms for 20 or more people. The website and mobile app allow members to filter locations by proximity, amenities, parking options and more.

For those who work remotely more often, the part-time plan includes up to eight visits a month for $99, and full-time members can use the service 20 times in a month — or every day Monday through Friday — for $199. Part-time and full-time members may visit each coworking space up to five times a month, and unused days roll over to the next month. Annual plans are also available.

“While some people are happy to work at home, many prefer a more active, inspiring and communal environment,” Rosen said. “Deskpass is the perfect transition tool for folks to get out of the house or the coffee shop and into a more professional, work-focused environment. We partner with a wide variety of providers, from local independent coworking spaces all the way up to multi city networks, making it a fantastic way to explore coworking and connect with a vibrant community of other remote workers.” He noted that nearly 4 million Americans now work from home more than half the week, according to a report by the job search company FlexJobs.

In addition to coworking options, Deskpass offers the ability to book hundreds of conference rooms, private offices, training centers and additional meeting spaces by the hour at a discounted rate. The service takes the legwork out of searching for a meeting room in an unfamiliar city, and makes the reservation process fast and easy.

According to a report by Colliers International, Atlanta was among the top 10 cities in the United States for coworking growth in 2018, adding more than 40 percent more flexible workspace since 2016.
