NEW YORK, NY (December 17, 2019) – Industrious, the largest premium workplace provider in the U.S., today announced it is partnering with Preferred Office Properties for a new location in Raleigh, NC.  The company will take approximately 28,000 square-feet in the Wells Fargo Capitol Center at 150 Fayetteville, a landmark high-rise office building in the epicenter of Downtown.

“Raleigh has a growing flexible office market and we’ve seen strong demand for our existing Industrious location,” said Melissa Bessler, Southeast area manager at Industrious.  “We’re proud to be expanding our presence in the market and look forward to offering our members the opportunity to work in an iconic Downtown building.”

A downtown Raleigh landmark, 150 Fayetteville is a 29-story, 550,000-square foot Class A office tower that recently underwent a more than $10 million transformative renovation. Major upgrades include modern expansive lobbies with custom public art, enhanced street-level entry experience and numerous building interior upgrades. 150 Fayetteville offers office users a thriving urban location, award-winning and beloved restaurants within steps, adjacent parking deck, high-profile existing tenant base and in-building amenities including a conference center and newly refreshed fitness center.

Workspaces Run Better On UltraSoftBIS

Industrious is known for its professional atmosphere, thoughtfully-designed workspaces intended to increase productivity, and hospitality-driven, member-centric approach. It offers all-inclusive amenities such as: Wi-Fi, a fully-stocked cafe with breakfast served daily, networking events and programming, and access to its vast national network. Industrious Wells Fargo Capitol Center will feature shared workplaces, private offices, and large team suites.  It is expected to be open for business Q3 2020. 

Around the country, past and present Industrious members include: Compass, Heineken, Humana, Lyft, Pandora, Pinterest, and Zillow.  Industrious currently has over 90 locations across more than 45 U.S. cities, including one other location in Raleigh: Charter Square.

Heath Chapman with CBRE’s Raleigh office represented Industrious in the transaction.  Hooker Manning and Alex Mikels with Kane Realty Corporation executed the deal on behalf of Preferred Office Properties.
