PLATF9RM, an award-winning coworking space in Brighton, UK, has appointed Kristina Pereckaite as its Entrepreneurship Director. She will be working directly with the community to cultivate and enrich the experience of business leaders and budding entrepreneurs within the PLATF9RM walls.
Kristina has worked with hundreds of founders from a range of industries supporting them to accelerate the growth of their business and to develop themselves as leaders.
Previously Manager of Brighton’s NatWest Accelerator, and founder of a local investor network, Kristina thrives when supporting entrepreneurs; bridging the gap between a ‘good idea’ and a ‘sound business model’.
Over the past four years, PLATF9RM has seen members launch exciting new businesses, it has housed the growth of teams, and has been witness to exciting collaborations between entrepreneurs. Coworking spaces are incubators of entrepreneurship and new ideas, so it’s a natural move for PLATF9RM to develop a programme of support for its members who have the ambition to do something big.
Seb Royle, PLATF9RM CEO adds: “PLATF9RM has always led with the community first and we’ve firmly embedded ourselves in the city’s cultural, hospitality and business scene. During these testing times, we’ve been seeing many of our members and offices fight for survival. We’re on a mission to not only help our community weather the storm but to flourish.
“We’re delighted that Kristina has joined us – she’s done brilliant work with NatWest Accelerator and within the Brighton start-up scene. We warmly welcome her as our Entrepreneurship Director, where she’ll be launching a diverse programme of support and solutions for our members and companies.”
Kristina adds: “The way we work and where we work is in disruption right now, and it’s about time. I love the narrative of the PLATF9RM brand to ‘make work wonderful’ – it’s about so much more than just space, and I believe it has global potential. I’m really excited to join the team at such a pivotal time in the business and to contribute to its growth.”
