IWG will open its sixth Spaces location in Hong Kong in WeWork’s former flagship space in Causeway Bay’s Tower 535. This marks the fourth former WeWork facility that IWG has taken over in the city.
This new Spaces location will take up the 11th and 12th floors, providing members with over 300 workstations and private offices that can accommodate for one to 60 people.
“Brought by the pandemic, the significant move to hybrid working leads to the unprecedented popularity of our flexible work products, and we have responded to these demands by local expansions,” said Paul MacAndrew, country manager for IWG Hong Kong.
Since the onset of the pandemic, IWG has added three new Signature locations all in former WeWork Hong Kong spaces, adding over 150,000 square feet to its portfolio.
Just last month, the office operator expanded its Signature location at Wharf Holdings’ Gateway in Tsim Sha Tsui, adding an extra floor for a total occupancy of 75,000 square feet.
