For jobs in cryptocurrency, New York City was ranked the top city with over 4,729 job openings available within the sector. In fact, US cities overall dominated this top 10, with Austin, Boston, Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, and Silicon Valley all being featured. London and Singapore were the only two regions outside of the US that made the top 10.

While the metaverse is still in its early stages, the last several months have caused the job openings in this industry to skyrocket.

The top three cities for metaverse-related jobs were Singapore, London, and Hong Kong, but salary varied across the entire top 10. In fact, Mexico City was found to have the highest salary for metaverse jobs at $317,000, while London ranked ninth due to its average salary of $58,000.

Careers within the NFT sector have also ramped up in recent years. Singapore was the top city for this industry, topping the number of available jobs and NFT-related businesses. However, the city came in sixth for salary.

Following behind for NFT jobs was London, which had a large number of NFT companies, but slower internet speeds compared to other cities mentioned.
