Isobel McKenna is joining Upflex’s EMEA headquarters in London after the firm raked in a $30 million funding round.
The former head of EMEA client solutions at CBRE will lead Upflex’s European growth and joins Freddie Case, who will serve as Vice President of Workplace Solutions EMEA.
Previously McKenna served as VP of enterprise accounts at IWG, while Case was employed by WeWork.
Following the development of a strategic partnership between Upflex and WeWork, the coworking operator recently led a $30 million funding round into Upflex.
“Following the close of our $30 million Series A funding and our exclusive deal with WeWork, we are perfectly positioned to accelerate our expansion into these markets, and I couldn’t be happier to appoint Isobel and Freddie to key leadership roles in our EMEA office to oversee this growth.” said Christophe Garnier, cofounder and CEO of Upflex.
Upflex launched its headquarters in Europe late last year following an acquisition of aggregator WorkClub. Now, the company hopes to open 200 total locations per month throughout the year, with around half being located in Europe and the UK.
