Industrious is bringing a new coworking space to Washington D.C., expanding its presence in the nation’s capital by 41,000 square feet.
The new location will be situated in a 756-unit mixed-use space in the city’s Riverfront neighborhood and feature a 530-seat within the coworking space.
The new Industrious location is slated to open this October and will be the operator’s 13th location in the D.C. area.
“Capitol Riverfront is the neighborhood to be in D.C. right now,” said Peri Demesthias, senior director of real estate growth at Industrious. “As we continue to expand across the D.C. market, it’s important to work with strategic landlord partners that understand the value of flex, which we absolutely accomplished here.”
Coworking among both public and private sectors has grown in popularity since the pandemic loosened its grip on society.
