How to Submit Contributed Stories to Allwork.Space and Tips on Getting Published

Allwork.Space selectively accepts outside contributions from industry professionals and thought leaders who can spark a conversation about the Future of Work and educate our readers on how the world of work is rapidly changing, why, and how to prepare for it.

Interested in contributing? Here’s what you need to know.

What we look for

The Allwork.Space mission is to empower businesses and individuals to navigate the Future Of Work with confidence and clarity.

We strive to demystify the complexities of the evolving work landscape, providing comprehensive coverage, expert analysis, and thought leadership on everything from flexible work and coworking spaces to technology trends and workplace wellbeing.

Articles submitted for consideration should be in line with this mission, and be written by a person, not a PR department.

We like articles that introduce new ideas and advance conversations around workplace topics and trends that engage our readers. We appreciate lively, polished writing that balances research or news with memorable anecdotes or examples that help illustrate your point of view.

The majority of our readers are decision makers within their organizations. Excellent articles are not just informative, they are useful, by offering practical advice and actionable insights that our readers can implement in their own work environments.

While we encourage drawing from your own experiences in business to support your ideas, over-the-top self-promotion (of yourself or your company) will prevent us from publishing your article. The same goes for dense jargon and abstract, blanket assertions.

We will immediately overlook your submission if:

  • It’s written or submitted by a PR agency and not the author themselves.
  • The article submitted is not an original and has been published elsewhere. We check.
  • It violates our Prohibited Content guidelines.
  • It doesn’t cite sources. (This article includes great tips to be sure plagiarism doesn’t creep into your work.)
  • The article has over-the-top self-promotion (of yourself or your company).
  • The article includes affiliate links.
If you are looking to promote yourself or your company please contact advertising at allwork.space or explore our advertising and marketing opportunities. You can also publish a press release or inquire about paid guest post opportunities. (Tip: This is where that self-promotion and company name dropping is welcome.)

How to submit

Submitted articles should generally be between 600 and 900 words. We cannot offer to pay for contributed stories, but if they’re engaging to read and useful to our audience, we will energetically promote them, just like any other story that runs on our site.

Submit complete, unpublished articles intended strictly for Allwork.Space, using the form below. This is currently the only way to submit contributions to our site.

Please no pitches, abstracts, outlines, press releases, or interview offers.

What to expect if we accept

Submissions go through a highly selective review process that occurs roughly once a week. Unfortunately, due to the volume of submissions, we are unable to respond to everyone. If your article is accepted, we will notify you with an expected publication date.

If we don’t reach out to you within two weeks of submission, it is safe to conclude that your piece was not chosen for publication.

Please understand that following up will not affect the review process’s timeline or the likelihood of a story’s selection. In addition, we cannot provide feedback regarding why a submission might not have been chosen for publication.

For stories we do choose to publish:

  • All articles are subject to editing.
  • Headlines and subheads are subject to change.
  • Content may be edited for style, tone, or substance.
  • Links may be added for context.
  • Art will be added at the discretion of Allwork.Space staff.
  • Articles may or may not be promoted across the Allwork.Space family of sites, on our home page, in our newsletters, and via our social feeds.
  • Allwork.Space may permit a select number of partner outlets to syndicate contributed articles that we’ve published originally.
  • All editorial rights of published pieces belong to Allwork.Space.

Allwork.Space requests that contributed articles remain exclusive to our site for a full week, after which time they may be syndicated in part or in full on other sites, with clear attribution and a link back to the original article on Allwork.Space.
