Industrious has partnered with Delta Air Lines to promote new flexible work opportunities for business travelers who are part of a new Delta program.

The Delta Business Traveler program, introduced on Tuesday, is a new program specifically catering to business travelers, small business owners, and remote workers. It includes a free month of access to Industrious coworking spaces, and discounts after that, reflecting new ways that the travel sector has been partnering with coworking providers globally.

At the heart of the program is a free trial membership providing access to flexible workspace provider Industrious’ 200-plus locations worldwide. This newly offered program shows Delta’s recognition of changes in the future of work environments and culture.

As remote and hybrid work models gain popularity, companies that are catering to business travelers, like airlines, are forming unique offerings through partnerships with workspace providers.

“Business travelers are looking for more than just a flight and a laptop; they want their entire journey to be an experience worth having,” Jamie Hodari, CEO and co-founder of Industrious said. “We’re thrilled to partner with Delta Air Lines — the number one airline in business travel 13 years in a row — to offer Delta Business Traveler enrollees a premium workspace experience. Whether they need a place to host meetings for a day or want to extend their stay and get some focused work done, we’ll welcome them at one of our locations.”

Members of Delta’s new program also receive six months of complimentary Hertz Five Star status car rentals. Business Traveler reports that other exclusive benefits include discounts on CLEAR expedited airport security services, MasterClass online lessons, travel insurance, and Indeed job postings.

The program is a strategic response to workforce trends and the growth of business travel following the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s reported that there has been a notable increase in freelance, remote, and entrepreneurial work post-pandemic.

By offering perks like access to Industrious’ coworking spaces, car rental upgrades, and discounts on services tailored for remote workers, Delta is recognizing that today’s professionals are increasingly blending business and leisure.
