Flexible workspace provider WeWork has announced the launch of its Coworking Partner Network, aimed at offering more options to its members through partnerships with third-party workspaces.
The initiative kicks off with a collaboration with Vast Coworking Group — the largest privately-owned franchisor of coworking spaces — expanding WeWork’s reach into suburban markets.
John Santora, CEO of WeWork, stated that this partnership enhances the Coworking Partner Network and aims to provide greater flexibility for dispersed and hybrid teams. He emphasized the increasing demand for flexible office solutions and the importance of accessible, high-quality workspaces.
With the addition of Vast’s locations, WeWork members will have access to more than 75 new coworking sites across the U.S. and Canada, alongside WeWork’s existing portfolio of over 500 locations. Participating brands include Venture X, Office Evolution, and Intelligent Office.
Jason Anderson, President of Vast Coworking Group, noted the potential of this collaboration to broaden the reach of locally owned coworking spaces. He highlighted the importance of convenience for professionals in today’s work environment.
Rob Teel, President of Global Solutions at Yardi, praised the partnership as a model for how technology can facilitate the growth of flexible workspaces.
WeWork intends to continue expanding its Coworking Partner Network and investing in technology to enhance member experiences, responding to the increasing interest in flexible office solutions as companies plan to expand their workspace options in the coming years, according to Business Wire.
