Only 45% Of U.S. Workers Expect A Pay Raise In The Next Six Months

LinkedIn's Executive Confidence Index reveals that nearly half (49%) of U.S. executives report that pay raises and promotions at their organizations have become more restricted compared to previous years.

According to LinkedIn’s latest Workforce Confidence Index, less than half of U.S. workers (45%) anticipate receiving a pay raise within the next six months. 

Even more striking, only 22% expect to be promoted in the coming year.

This cautious outlook appears to be driven by ongoing economic uncertainty and inflation, which have impacted both worker expectations and employers’ budgets for salary increases.

A separate survey, LinkedIn’s Executive Confidence Index, reveals that nearly half (49%) of U.S. executives report that pay raises and promotions at their organizations have become more restricted compared to previous years.
