International Workplace Group (IWG) is set to open two new Regus locations in Malaysia as part of its continued expansion in the region, according to The Edge Malaysia.
The new centers — Regus Menara Public Gold in Kuala Lumpur and Regus Troika Kota Bharu in Kelantan — will further strengthen IWG’s presence, bringing flexible workspaces to both established cities and emerging towns.
The Kuala Lumpur office is scheduled to open in June, while the Kota Bharu location will follow in July. This marks IWG’s first east coast office in Malaysia, extending its services beyond the major urban hubs. With these additions, IWG now operates 45 centers across the country under its Regus, Spaces, HQ, and Signature brands.
The opening of these two centers is part of IWG’s five-year plan to expand its Malaysian footprint to 160 centers, with five new locations launched in 2024 alone. The move aligns with the growing demand for hybrid workspaces as businesses look for more flexible office solutions.
The new Kuala Lumpur office at Menara Public Gold will offer 13,924 square feet of space, catering to businesses of all sizes, from startups to large multinational companies.
Meanwhile, the Kota Bharu center will occupy 7,836 square feet in the Troika Kota Bharu mixed-use development, providing businesses in Kelantan’s key sectors — including tourism, retail, and manufacturing — with access to modern, flexible workspaces.
