WeWork Expands Coworking Partner Network With 1,000+ New Locations Across U.S. And Canada

By integrating independent operators like Expansive and Pacific Workspaces into its booking ecosystem, WeWork can meet growing enterprise demand for distributed, on-demand workspaces.

WeWork is growing its third-party Coworking Partner Network by adding more than 1,000 new locations across the U.S. and Canada, according to Commercial Property Executive. The expansion comes nearly a year after the network launched and aims to give enterprise clients more options to book space through WeWork’s digital platforms, including its proprietary workplace software.

The new locations come from a network of over 600 national, regional, and specialty coworking operators. Together, they cover more than 500 markets and offer a variety of workspaces with built-in amenities.

These partner spaces can be accessed by WeWork’s enterprise clients via the WeWork app, offering more flexibility to employees who need space closer to home or client sites.

By integrating independent operators like Expansive and Pacific Workspaces into its booking ecosystem, WeWork can meet growing enterprise demand for distributed, on-demand workspaces — without opening new physical locations itself.

Workspace Geek - Coworking Management Made Simple

Strategic Move Post-Bankruptcy

In 2024, WeWork emerged from bankruptcy after shedding 170 underperforming locations and securing $450 million in exit funding. Yardi, the real estate software company, now holds a 60% stake in the business and has played a key role in building out the partner network through its technology infrastructure.

Since its relaunch, the program has served as a testing ground for how enterprise clients use flex space. Booking patterns have shown that large companies often choose familiar coworking brands in cities where WeWork lacks a presence and turn to strong local operators in more niche markets.

WeWork’s expansion is indicative of a growing demand for workspace that moves with employees rather than anchoring them to a single office. By increasing access to high-quality, decentralized work environments, the company is positioning itself to serve a workforce that now expects optionality, convenience, and flexibility as the norm, not the exception.
