Online trading platform Robinhood has announced that the majority of its employees will transition to permanent remote work arrangements.
The firm said that most of its 3,4000 workers will fall under its remote-first approach, which is similar to other tech companies making the pivot to hybrid models.

“Being able to go primarily remote really means that now we can recruit and attract talent from almost anywhere,” said Cynthia Owyoung, vice president of equity, inclusion and belonging at Robinhood.
Due to regulatory and business-related reasons, the company added that some teams will still need to live close to its offices. Additionally, a small portion of employees will need to work on-site.
