Anonymous social network platform Blind has found that 76% of Apple employee respondents were discontent with the company’s office policies.
Workers at the tech giant returned to the office just weeks ago and are required to be in the workplace at least a few days throughout the week. However, the Blind survey of 652 Apple employees showed that this hybrid work strategy has been unfavorable.
Because of this, 56% of respondents stated that they wanted to leave the company over the arrangement.
“Apple is going to see attrition like no other come June. 60% of my team doesn’t even live near the office,” one anonymous Apple employee posted. “They are not returning.”
However, this isn’t the only reason employees want to leave. In March, one anonymous worker stated that they were quitting the company due to an increase of Covid spread within the office, poor company culture, and a lack of work-life balance.
Retail workers have also cited worsening work conditions including dealing with angry customers. As a result, workers at Apple’s Cumberland Mall location in Atlanta filed to unionize, making it the first to do so within the company.
