Virtual reality office firm Arthur has announced a brand-new solution that aims to alter the future of virtual workspaces.
Coined “New Realities,” the update merges VR with the real world, creating a mixed reality (MR) that aims to bring users the best of both worlds. By doing so, the company has become one of the first virtual office firms to offer MR tools on Meta’s Quest Pro devices.
“As a company with a mission of transforming the way we work, Mixed Reality is an essential next step in our product’s evolution,” said Christoph Fleischmann, CEO and Founder of Arthur.
“While we have been proud to see in our clients how powerful pure Virtual Reality Collaboration can be, the combination with Mixed Reality unlocks entirely new levels of productivity and ease of use.”
Fleischmann adds that with the implementation of MR, users can easily control their immersion levels during meetings, while bringing in their familiar tools into the virtual space. For instance, users can bring their real-life desk and keyboard into their VR office.
“The Next Realities update will help us unlock the next frontier in enabling a future of work that is better and apt for our current world and needs.”
Although Arthur’s services are dedicated to enterprise clients, the company plans to offer a lite version of New Realities, giving smaller companies and teams a chance to test out each feature.
